Academic teacher/scientist with 15+ years of experience in higher education/scientific projects and manager with outstanding results while managing the R&D institute (the Textile Research Institute, which became part of Łukasiewicz Research Network).

Prizes and other achievements:

• Participation in the project 'Manufacturing of biodegradable, hybrid composites on the basis of lactide nano-fibres and alginate nanocomposite fibres for medical applications', NCBiR NR08-0032-10/2010, which was awarded a prize of 'Łódzkie Eureka' in 2015.
• Scholarship obtained within a project 'Scholarships supporting innovative scientific research of the PhD students', funded from ESF and national budget, 2009

Other:

• From 2012-2017 tutor of the first year for Economics in English;
• Since 2016 Faculty Coordinator for the recruitment of international students, together with PhD Eleonora Ratowska-Dziobiak;
• From September 2017 to August 2021 general manager of the Textile Research Institute in Lodz (later Lukasiewicz Research Network - Textile Research Institute);
• Member of the scientific councils of the Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibres in Lodz (IBWCH) - 2017-2019 and of the Institute of the Leather Industry in Lodz (IPS) - 2018-2019;
• Since many years a reviewer in periodicals from the Master Journal List - Fibres and Textiles in Eastern Europe and Autex Research Journal;
• in 2016-2017 an expert evaluating projects under Regional Operational Programme of the Lodzkie Voivodeship

• Graduate of the pedagogic course for the academic teachers from the Faculty of Management and Organisation of the Lodz University of Technology, 2006-2007
